THE Bulls are in the enviable position this week of going into the final round of the Super 14 knowing they already have a home semifinal in the bag.

An eight-point cushion over the second-placed Stormers means they can't be overtaken, and though only announcing their starting line-up today for their clash with the Stormers in Cape Town on Saturday evening, it is expected they will make a number of changes and rest some key players.

The Bulls are already making preparations for the semifinal and the logistics of moving 40000 fans to Orlando Stadium in Soweto, where the game will be played.

"There are three ways fans can get to the game," Blue Bulls chief executive Barend van Graan told Sowetan at the impressive stadium yesterday.

"Trains will be laid on, buses will be available and there will be a park- and-ride from Nasrec," he explained.

Van Graan said the buy-in of the authorities made this historic match possible.

"Everyone has helped us, from the Johannesburg City Council to Joburg Metro, Fifa and the LOC, the response and assistance has been fantastic.

"Also the support from our stakeholders has been overwhelming and so many positives are flowing from our decision to bring rugby to Soweto," said Van Graan.

"The players are geared up for the move to Orlando Stadium. If you remember when we went overseas for our Super 14 games the team wore Bafana Bafana jerseys.

"They are 100 percent behind the national soccer team and can't wait for May 22 when they run out of the tunnel at this fantastic stadium.

"Just look, even the seats are blue," he joked.
