Oosthuizen will take on Australian Michael Bolling for the vacant IBO super middleweight title, while Buthelezi and Ronele Ferreras from Mexico will fight for the vacant IBO mini flyweight strap.
Oosthuizen is the string-bean left-handed fighter from Benoni whose awesome skills are honed by accomplished trainer Harold Volbrecht.
The diminutive Buthelezi is under the tutelage of another esteemed mentor, Elias Tshabalala.
The fights at Emperors Palace will be presented by promoter Rodney Berman under Golden Gloves. Berman hopes his bill, dubbed "Blockbuster", will be the cherry on top of next month's Fifa World Cup.
His company, which was founded in 1977, has produced 69 world champions, including overseas-based champions like Shane Mosley, Hasim Rahman and Cristobal Cruz.
The boxing programme that involves an IBO flyweight championship between flaxen-haired whirlwind champion Hekkie "Hexecutioner" Budler and Filipino challenger Juanito Rubillar promises to provide another form of entertainment for visiting soccer fans.
Oosthuizen, 21, and Bolling, 25, are both undefeated. Oosthuizen has eight knockouts from 11 fights, while Bolling has 10 short-route wins from 12 fights.
Oosthuizen is still fresh from a stoppage of Saul Roman, the tough Mexican who crumbled in the eighth round last month.
Bolling, from New South Wales, and Oosthuizen are both boxer-punchers.
"It will be a case of two terrific bulls coming together and attempting to batter each other into submission," Berman said yesterday.
