They are among the 16-member Manong Youth Developers from Mahlalaotwane Village in GaRakgoadi, Limpopo.
Most of them are university students, while others have just entered the world of work. Their nonprofit organisation runs career guidance, health and lifestyle workshops.
They encourage local professionals to visit schools and motivate pupils, donate stationery and other learning materials, adopt destitute pupils and pool resources to recognise, acknowledge and reward top-achievers with cash prizes and bursaries.
