BIDVEST Wits should treat tomorrow's Nedbank Cup quarterfinal match against FC Cape Town at Milpark Stadium with caution.

This is the advice of Wits midfielder Marawaan Bantam to his teammates against the Cape side that bundled cup specialists Kaizer Chiefs out of the prestigious competition in the group of 16 a fortnight ago.

"They are dangerous on the counterattack and we need to take them seriously. I have a lot of respect for them," Bantam said yesterday.

"The spirit in their camp should be high after booting Kaizer Chiefs out of the competition, but we also have a lot of confidence in the camp after beating Thanda Royal Zulu at the weekend.

"We must guard against giving away balls easily, as we did against Thanda."

The hosts will be without striker Calvin Kadi, who was red-carded against Royal Zulu. Kickoff is at 3pm.
