LAST year's Vodacom Cup finalists, the Blue Bulls, will take on the Free State Cheetahs in this year's final at Loftus B Field on Friday. Kickoff is at 4pm.

The Bulls were beaten 28-19 by the Griquas in last year's final. The Cheetahs will be playing in the final for the first time since outclassing the Griquas 44-24 in 2004.

In last weekend's semifinals the Bulls thumped the Sharks XV 33-3 in Pretoria, while the Cheetahs walloped the Boland Kavaliers 22-14 in Wellington.

The grand prize is a cool R1million from the South African Rugby Union and Vodacom. Half of the prize money will go to the winning team, while the rest will be used for rugby development in the region of the champions.
