POLICE had to be called to intervene when church members marched to their mission to demand the removal of the resident priest.

POLICE had to be called to intervene when church members marched to their mission to demand the removal of the resident priest.

More than 50 members of the African Congregational Church marched to the mission at Q section in UMlazi, Durban. They accused Reverend Delani Gwensa of being abusive. Police had to escort Gwensa from the angry crowd into the mission.

Police spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane said they were called to restore order.
