WINNERSPARK coach Jose Dos Santos says they will not be intimidated by Mpumalanga Black Aces' Absa Premiership status when they meet in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup in Mankweng on Sunday.

"We will not be threatened by the fact that they are playing in the top flight," Dos Santos said after a training session at the University of Limpopo yesterday.

Winnerspark, who have been relegated to the Vodacom Promotional League, are hoping to follow in the footsteps of Promotional League side Als Puk Tawana, who claimed the scalps of Premiership side Platinum Stars in Ke Yona.

Dos Santos also draws inspiration from National First Division club University of Pretoria and FC Cape Town, who prevailed in round of 16 encounters.

Aces spokesperson Thabo Moroape said: "They have home-ground advantage, but we are ready for them."

The match is scheduled for 3pm at the university's Oscar Mpetha Stadium.
