Get rid of ANC and Malema

I UNDERSTOOD your April 21 editorial with the headline "Julius reigns supreme".

I UNDERSTOOD your April 21 editorial with the headline "Julius reigns supreme".

In your opening paragraph you are saying that the ANC has been hoist with its own petard.

In the second paragraph you are saying that in Julius Malema the ANC has created a Frankenstein monster or a modern Prometheus.

The editorial is spot on and aptly describes some in the ANC leadership as "bloody wimps". It apparently refers to those who are beholden to Malema and are kowtowing to him because their election to the NEC in 2012 depends on ANCYL support.

They are for sale to the highest bidder. This is shameful and pathetic.

What kind of society do we have in which the entire society is held to ransom by a youth leader who does not even hold public office to which he was elected through a general election.

There were rumours that he was privy to classified information but that story quickly disappeared from the media and has not resurfaced.

So he also calls the tune not only in the ruling party but in some organs of state. He recently ordered the police to do as he pleased at their provincial conference in Makhado.

He once refused to obey orders from a traffic officer and asked the officer if he knew who he was.

The buck must stop with the citizens of this country, who must vote the ANC out to rid ourselves of Malema.
