ZIMBABWEAN Briton Chipere won the annual Land of Legends marathon in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, at the weekend in 2hr 22min record time.

ZIMBABWEAN Briton Chipere won the annual Land of Legends marathon in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, at the weekend in 2hr 22min record time.

Chipere's fellow countrymen Michael Kasenge and Sipho Ncube came second and third respectively.

Also, Mpho Mabuza of Soweto beat the hills to claim first female position in the 42.2km with a record of 2hr 45min.

In the men's category of the 21.1km, Kgosi Tsoane and Thabitha Tshatsha came first in the men's and women's categories respectively.
