FOR just an hour yesterday morning Nandi Primary School pupils in Soweto couldn't believe their eyes when they were visited by legendary former Kaizer Chiefs player Nelson "Teenage" Dladla.
FOR just an hour yesterday morning Nandi Primary School pupils in Soweto couldn't believe their eyes when they were visited by legendary former Kaizer Chiefs player Nelson "Teenage" Dladla.
Teenage has joined forces with 2010 Fifa World Cup partners BP to help with the development of the beautiful game. He handed out 500 soccer balls to excited Nandi pupils yesterday.
"My talents were also spotted at primary school level," he said, explaining why he was at the school.
On the World Cup he said: "Bafana must remember that the pressure is on us as the host country. So they must do their best and do us proud. They are not only doing it for themselves but for every South African."
He encouraged South Africans to wear their Bafana T-shirts with pride and do anything to show that the country is excited about the World Cup.
