"I want to watch Bafana show the Mexicans that they are not all that count," Qubeka said.
Poet Mzwakhe Mbuli said: "Bafana Bafana are duty bound to rise to the occasion and make us proud.
"They should remember that they have a 12th player, the fans. As South Africans we should show the world love, unity and ubuntu."
