North Korea, who have also qualified for the 2010 Fifa World Cup, have set up a training camp in Spain as part of their preparations for the big soccer tournament.
Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira and his team are keeping their fingers crossed that the skies clear so they can play against World Cup opposition.
Most international flights around Europe have been grounded due to the cloud of volcanic ash in the skies after a volcano erupted in Iceland.
Safa chief executive Leslie Sedibe was also supposed to have left for Germany on Sunday night to meet Bafana but his trip has been postponed indefinitely.
Russian First Division side Estonia are also struggling to get a flight for Saturday's friendly against Bafana in Germany.
The proposed friendly against German sides Eintracht Frankfurt today is off and so is the clash against FC Nuremberg.
This after the German side indicated that they would send their reserve side for the match and Bafana were unhappy with this because they want tough opponents to thoroughly prepare for the World Cup.
Bafana midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala said they were training hard in Germany, adding that the fitness level of the players will be top notch during the tournament that kicks off on June 11.
"Everyone in the team is aware that the World Cup is around the corner and the expectations are high from the public so we need to deliver as a collective."
Bafana players and management will today attend the launch of the World Cup final ball at the headquarters of Adidas in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
