"Two suspects hired a man to kill the shop owner because they believed he had stolen their customers," Warrant Officer Xoli Mbhele said. The 22-year-old Bangladeshi was shot dead in his shop.
Mbhele said two of the arrested men allegedly hired a hit man to kill the man because they believed he was stealing their customers.
The murdered man had worked for the two men before he opened his own shop. A third man allegedly helped them to employ the hit man.
Police arrested the three men and alleged hit man, all aged between 22 and 30, in Johannesburg on Friday after a tip-off. - Sapa
