AS SOON as celebrities got settled in Sun City's Superbowl, and some in the comfort of their homes, tweets about presenters, performances and some of the fashion faux pas started flying.

Singers Thandiswa Mazwai, Camagwini and Winnie Khumalo were mocked for the outfits they wore when on stage.

When Mazwai, wearing an outfit that looked like sharp blades protruding from her shoulders, presented an award with Cassette lead singer John Savage, 5FM DJ Fresh tweeted: "Thandiswa's outfit almost poked Johns out (sic) AND removed it!!!.

Savage had to watch his movements as he stood next to Mazwai.

His colleague DJ Anele Mdoda was shocked by Camagwini's space ship-like outfit.

"Awuzwe, is that Lady Gagagwini ?...Yoh that suit is shiny like it lost a fight with Mr Min!"

On Mazwai's outfit, Mdoda tweeted: "Thandiswa Mazwai! I am in heaven!"

Host Trevor Noah seemed to have his audience in stitches, but DJ Zinhle did not think so.

"Trevor is cute but he wasn't funny this year," she tweeted.

DJ Zinhle also slated the last performance by local artists and others from other African countries including Nigeria and Angola.
