To date their Australasian tour has been a success with wins over the Western Force (28-15) and the Chiefs (33-19). Their only blemish was an off-day at the office against the Blues when they went down 17-32.
A home semifinal is what they are after and they will know one more win overseas will go a long way to achieving that.
Gone are the days when the Bulls were poor travellers and battled in foreign conditions and their record the last two or three years speaks for itself.
The Reds, on the other hand, will be pleased to be back home after a successful trip to Africa and with the sublime form of flyhalf Quade Cooper may fancy their chances at Suncorp Stadium.
But the home side's captain Will Ginea says the Reds are not getting ahead of themselves.
"They (the Bulls) are definitely the best side in the competition. They do the simple things so well... and they are massive men. Their forwards give them good go forward and their backs are good enough to play off the back of them," said Ginea on the rugby website Super 14.
In the run-on side, Bulls coach Frans Ludeke has made just one change to last week's lineup - Deon Stegmann makes way for Derick Kuun on the side of the scrum.
Another South African side in action is the Stormers this morning against the Chiefs in Hamilton, New Zealand.
Coach Allaistair Coetzee has stuck to his winning combination from last week against the Blues and will be hoping for a repeat of that game.
All the matches this weekend: Today - Chiefs v Stormers (kickoff 9.35am); Brumbies v Hurricanes (11.40am). Tomorrow - Blues v Force (7.30am); Crusaders v Cheetahs (9.35am); Reds v Bulls (11.30am); and Lions v Sharks (5.05pm).
