STYLE guru Uyanda Mbuli of DFC says a good hairstyle and make-up are crucial for today's woman - and that bright coloured nails are the new must-have accessory.
"Samas only come once a year. It is important to get a good make-up and hair stylist because if you get your hair and make-up wrong it will spoil the impact of your dress."
She also says body hugging or flowing evening gowns are the must haves for this season. But according to Mbuli it is crucial to dress according to your body type.
"Understated glamour is important. You don't want to compete with bright lights and the carpet. Keep it nice and simple," she says.
