While many thought the Urban Warriors would struggle after the talented but wayward Mkhanyiseli Siwahla left the team, the Mitchells Plain-born winger has done well to make the right midfield position his own.

Q: How old were you when you started playing professional football?
A: Since the age of five.
Q: Who did you grow up supporting?
A: I used to support Kaizer Chiefs. Everyone at home supported Chiefs and naturally I also supported them.
Q: Who was your childhood role model?
A: My uncle Ibrahim Daniels. He is very down to earth, humble and very religious. He is also a hard worker and I admire that.
Q: Which car do you drive?
A: A Honda Civic V-Tech
Q: If money were no issue, which car would you be driving?
A: A Lamborghini Diablo.
Q: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
A: South Africa, Cape Town in particular. There's no place like home!
Q: If you could choose between Tebogo Moloi and Doctor Khumalo, who would you choose?
A: Doctor Khumalo. He was a magician.

A: It depends in the mood I'm in. I normally just relax and play Play-Station, listen to music or go to the mall.

A: (Laughing) I was still in school, but I'm not going to reveal her name.
Q: Any embarrassing moments on or off the field?
A: I was playing for a local club called Scotche Kloof and I came one-on-one with their keeper. I did well to place the ball past him, but because it was raining the ball got stuck in a water puddle, but I started celebrating, not aware that it was not in until the fans pointed out that it was not in. That was embarrassing.
Q: Has a defender said anything negative to you to try to put you off the game?
A: Not really. Warren Bishop talks a lot, but I just ignore him.
