Ivory Coast skipper Didier Drogba struck the first goal as Chelsea also qualified for the FA Cup final.

John Obi Mikel (Chelsea) - The Nigeria midfielder was fortunate not to concede a crucial penalty as his side defeated Villa. Mikel appeared to trip Gabriel Agbonlahor in the first half at Wembley, but referee Howard Webb turned down appeals.

Kagisho Dikgacoi (Fulham) - The South African midfielder helped his side to an impressive 0-0 draw at Liverpool. He was sent on as a 75th-minute substitute for Danny Murphy and, in his first appearance since the 2-0 defeat at Hull last month, kept the Reds at bay.

Samuel Eto'o (Inter Milan) - Playing right of centre in Jose Mourinho's attacking trident, Eto'o put in a tenacious performance capped by his side's second goal that momentarily put Inter 2-1 up.

Hassan Yebda (Portsmouth) - The Algerian midfielder played for 87 minutes against Tottenham before being replaced by Nigerian John Utaka.
