ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema yesterday took his fury with the media to new heights when he threw a journalist working for the British Broadcasting Corporation out of a media conference and attacked journalists for "sensational reporting".

Malema also accused the journalist, John Fisher, of trying to undermine black people. This after Fisher had tried to interrupt him while responding to questions about his visit to Zimbabwe.

"Let me tell you, this (Luthuli House) is the building of a revolutionary party and you know nothing about the revolution.

"And you don't come here with that white tendency, not here.

"You can do it somewhere else, not here.

"If you've got a tendency of undermining blacks even where you work, you are in the wrong place.

"This is not a newsroom, it's a revolutionary house."

Malema said the youth league would not tolerate being undermined in its own head office.

He also insulted Fisher by saying his trousers covered "rubbish".

"Rubbish is what you have covered in your trouser. You are a small boy, you can't do anything.

"Go out, you bastard. Go out, you bloody agent."

Malema also lashed out at another journalist and newspapers that suggested the youth league went to Zimbabwe to conduct business deals and accumulate wealth.

"It's not true that we were welcomed by businesspeople, it's a lie. We were welcomed by ordinary people who were singing ANC songs in Zimbabwe."

He raged: "The best journalists we know must be ashamed of you . that you can go out of your way to lie about an individual because you want to sell newspapers."

Malema also criticised journalists for selective reporting while covering the death of AWB leader Eugène Terre'blanche.
