Examine facts, not race

THE thorny issue of race in South Africa needs urgent attention if we are all to live together in harmony.

Reluctant as I am to talk about it, the fact is that racism is alive and rife. The worst thing is no longer about whites doing things to blacks, but increasingly what some blacks do to whites.

We all belong to the human race and colour is immaterial.

When a white man kills a black we are quick to call it racial hatred, yet when blacks kill white farmers we are silent. This is hypocrisy.

Why are we so racially obsessed? Look at facts, not colour.
