The two have allegedly been going out for a while but had been keeping their affair secret. The couple had been spotted together at many events but always denied being an item.
Colleagues at the Limpopo radio station have been informed about the wedding and management has given the couple the green light to continue with their wedding plans because their affair "did not affect their work".
Nyango presents the The SilkyTouch on weekdays between 9am and midday, which is produced by Mnisi. Mnisi presents The Soul Connection between 8pm and midnight from Monday to Thursday.
Mnisi said he was very excited about the engagement because he felt safe around Nyango since they had a lot in common. Nyango said she was looking forward to marrying the love of her life.
Mnisi started with the station at its establishment in 2007, while Nyango only joined in February last year.
The wedding takes place on Saturday at the bride's home in Phalaborwa and the following day it will be held at the groom's home in Hazyview.
