Addressing the media in Parktown yesterday, Khoza said he fully respected the call by President Jacob Zuma to soccer leaders to focus on hosting a great World Cup.
An emotional Khoza was responding to media reports that he was plotting to oust Safa president Kirsten Nematandani and make the federation ungovernable after the World Cup.
Khoza strongly denied the media reports, which he describe as not only false but malicious and peddled by those who do not care about putting the World Cup first.
"I made a commitment that my focus will be singularly dedicated to hosting a successful 2010 Fifa World Cup. I have stayed true to this commitment," he said.
"I have held no meeting, nor had any correspondence where the subject of Safa elections or any related issue was discussed.
"There is a lot that has happened in my personal space since I made this commitment not to do or say anything to detract from the World Cup.
"No matter how tempting, I have stuck to my commitment. I have always understood and appreciated that the World Cup is more than me and not about me.
"I will therefore stop at nothing to ensure that those who want to take away from the World Cup have no latitude to do so, be they foreign agents or compromised local media bought by those selfish enough to put their narrow interests ahead of those of the nation and our World Cup," Khoza said.
The 32-nation tournament, which will be played in Africa for the first time in its history, will see big name players diplay their artistry in Mzansi.
They include Lionel Messi (Argentina), Wayne Rooney (England), Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal), Kaka (Brazil), Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast), Samuel Eto'o (Cameroon), and Obafemi Martins (Nigeria).
