Latest media split a pity

IT is unfortunate that the media and journalists are again divided between pro-nationalists and pro-Left as the war between these groups intensifies in the ANC for the Mangaung conference.

Shivambugate should be understood within the context of attempts by the ANCYL to muzzle journalists from writing anything negative about the "2009 class of accumulators" that involves Julius Malema and his business-minded polygamous family - Kgomotso Montlanthe, Zizi Kodwa, Siphiwe Nyanda, Zweli Mkhize, Vivian Reddy, Cassius Mathale, Sandile Zungu, Tony Yengeni and Jeff Radebe.

The "2009 class of accumulators" is fighting for the soul of the AZNC with a leftist group led by Gwede Mantashe, Blade Nzimande, Eric Mtshali, Zwelinzima Vavi, Buti Manamela, Castro Ngobese, Noluthando Sibiya-Mayende and Sidumo Dlamini.

The electronic media have been divided into two, with e.tv giving space and time to Vavi to lambast Malema at every opportunity, while the SABC has become the new ANC elite.

The SABC did not show how many companies Zuma's family and girlfriends own, while e.tv gave a good analysis of how the Zuma family has positioned itself in the accumulation path.

Malema is not shown singing dubul' ibhunu on SABC. He is portrayed as a leader of reason and intellectual acumen. Without e.tv the nation would not have seen Malema continue singing this racially sensitive song.
