SOCCER boss Lindile "Ace" Kika has returned to soccer administration with his election as Transformation Football Forum deputy president

The Eastern Cape's Kika, a former Safa national executive committee member, is the deputy to Danny Jordaan. They were elected at a meeting in Kempton Park on Saturday.

Safa strategic development manager Dennis Mumble, who was running the office of FTF until September, was elected general secretary.

Josina Telle and former Transnet Football School of Excellence general manager Steve Pila were elected as additional members.

Meanwhile, Safa will hold a special general meeting on May 29 for proposed amendments to the constitution to pave the way for an increased executive.

This will see Jordaan elected third Safa deputy president along with Mandla Mazibuko and Mwelo Nonkonyana.

Irvin Khoza, who has been keeping a low profile lately, is also serving as Safa deputy president by virtue of his position as chairperson of the Premier Soccer League.

The new Safa leadership also want the nine provincial representatives on the executive committee to increase from one to two.

This will see the likes of the hard working Pila, Kika and Abel Rakoma being elected to represent their respective provinces on the executive committee.
