Leopards almost blew it after winning the first leg 4-0 when they hosted African Warriors.

But the Free Staters last night scared them when they raced to a 70th minute 3-0 lead at Charles Mopeli Stadium.

Leopards, however found two late goals to thumped Ashwin Sutton side win 6-3 on aggregate.

Leopards will now meet Mpumalanga Black Aces in the final.

The Free Staters had led Leopards by three goals to nil until Leopards' Malawian international found the net with a brilliant header from the corner-kick in the 85th minute.

The visitors' second goal was scored by the impressive linkman Khethowakhe Masuku on the stroke of full-time, much to the relieve of Leopards' coach Vladislav Heric - his charges were on the receiving end.

Warriors started the encounter brightly and scored as a early as third minute through Malefetsane Rankati.

Their second goal in the 42nd minutes from Bulelani Matroos did not come a surprise.

Mafenelo Makume scored the third goal two minutes into the second half.

Meanwhile, Canaan Mdletshe reports that Aces surprised many pundits after being written off because Lions held them to a 2-all draw in the first leg at home last Wednesday

Instead, Aces beat Nathi Lions 2-0 in a thrilling second-leg match Chatsworth.

Aces will now face Black Leopards in the two-legged final for a place in the Absa Premiership.

Leopards host the first leg in Thohoyandou on April 3.

The second leg will be played on April 7.

The first clear chance of the match fell to Mpho "Zico" Maleka.

Sibusiso Dabi broke the deadlock when he headed home from a corner in the 65th minute.

Maleka put the game beyond Lion's reach with a clinical finish on the 82nd minute.
