THE eagerly awaited Telkom Knockout quarter-final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will be played at Super Stadium on Sunday. Kickoff is at 3pm.

Downs communications manager Alex Shakoane pleaded with fans to purchase tickets early.

"We are not worried about this massive encounter being played at Super Stadium. We are quite happy with the venue and as hosts we actually requested that the match be played there," he said.

"We have played Chiefs there before and there were no incidents and I'm confident that we'll have no problems on Sunday."

SuperSport United will host AmaZulu at the same venue on Saturday at 3pm while Jomo Cosmos will play Orlando Pirates at Rand Stadium at 6pm.

On Sunday, Ajax Cape Town welcome Lamontville Golden Arrows at Newlands at 3pm.
