TSHIFULANANI Stadium in Thohoyandou came to life yesterday afternoon when more than 3000 Black Leopards devotees celebrated their 4-0 stroll over a pathetic African Warriors side in the first leg of the national playoffs.

The match was played in sweltering heat , with Warriors also well supported.

Leopards missed an opportunity to earn automatic promotion to the Absa Premiership when they were beaten 3-2 on aggregate by Vasco da Gama a fortnight ago

But the Venda club is now a favourite to reach the final of the promotion-relegation event next month.

Lidoda Duvha broke the deadlock through Khethokwakhe Masuku in the 11th minute. Walter Ramulondi struck Leopards' second goal in the 24th minute, and found the net again three minutes into the second half, before Fisher Kondowe scored the fourth.
