New website for Racing SA

RACING SA is pleased to announce the launch of its new website.

RACING SA is pleased to announce the launch of its new website.

The new design brings a fresh feel to the site and attempts to incorporate the dynamic global focus of SAFHorse, Racing South Africa's international marketing arm, with the company's more static functions.

These include the services provided by Kenilworth Quarantine Station and the support of the Equine Research Centre, African Horse Sickness Trust and industry initiatives like the Charity Turf Challenge.

The website was designed and is hosted by Gravity Designs, a Pietermartizburg-based web-design company that also created the AHS website: www.africanhorsesickness.co.za. Director James Urry, a medical doctor and keen sport horse enthusiast, used the latest technology to allow easy back-end access to Racing South Africa's staff, thus ensuring reporting is as current as possible.

The Racing SA website can be accessed via the following domain names: www.racingsouthafrica.co.za; www.racingsa.com; www.racingsouthafrica.com; ww.safhorse.com

The SAFHorse focus is clearly intended to inform international visitors to the site of important South African sales and racing events, promising local performances and to encourage investment in our racing industry.

Pedigree expert and journalist Ada van der Bent continues to provide insightful Graded Race reports, international South African Group successes, Sales reviews and pedigree assessments.

The Kenilworth Quarantine Station section includes general information about South Africa's official pre-export quarantine facility as well as detailed, down-loadable standard operating procedures, export schedules, terms and conditions, and updates regarding South Africa's export protocols.

Future plans include online bookings and export readiness criteria per country.

Racing SA welcomes your input as we hope to continually improve the site. All suggestions can be mailed to: james@gravitydesign.co.za
