The bakkie veered sharply from the road and smashed through the roadside barrier before coming to rest.
Netcare 911 spokes-person Jeff Wicks said: "Paramedics, working in close conjunction with eThekwini metro firefighters, carefully extricated the injured.
"They were treated and stabilised at the scene before they were transported by ambulance to a Durban hospital." - Khulekani Mazibuko
