Well done, NPA, for swift action on Jub Jub

THE National Prosecuting Authority must be applauded for their swift action in dealing with the Jub Jub case .

This kind of treatment should be given to all reckless drivers, who think they can do as they please on our roads.

The decision to change the charge sheet from culpable homicide to murder needs to be greeted with applause.

The NPA now needs to bring to the party those top prosecutors involved in high-profile cases.

We need these prosecutors because the two men are not going to fold their arms and wait to be sentenced. They are going to fight to stay out of prison.

The pupils who lost their friends should not lose focus in this, the darkest hour in their lives. They need to remember that the best they can do for their friends is to study hard and produce the best results.

This incident should not take the future away from those who are alive as it did those who departed.

Our deepest condolences to the families of the children.

The youth of South Africa, who are led by the never-compromising Julius Malema, should be there when the men appear in court next week, to support the families and also to give direction to the youth at large.

Former ANCYL president Fikile Mbalula has said the youth should not associate with criminals. We the youth of today say that we will not associate with the Jub Jubs of this world.

May the departed rest in peace and may their souls find peace and also console their families.
