"I think in America we're messing up our kids by taking away the education on, and awareness of, our sexuality and replacing it with violence, guns and video games - and we're breeding criminals."
The 31-year-old star also admitted she won't rule out ever starring in a graphic sex scene in any of her movies.
Speaking about her relationship, Saldana admitted she always wants to experience "severe passion".
