THINGS are happening for veteran kwaito outfit TKZee. They have just released an album which they call Home Coming.

Kabelo Mabalane, Zwai Bala and Tokollo Tshabalala are back after seven year s.

Fans will be thrilled to know that TKZee will be performing at the very popular Cape Town International Festival on April 3 and 4.

Coming Home has been nominated for the South African Music Awards (Sama) for Best Kwaito Album .

TKZee performed recently in London with Mandoza and the group were also present at the 2010 Fifa World Cup draw in Cape Town.

The trio will be sharing the stage with George Benson, Lira, Jonathan Butler, the Ronny Jordan Organ Trio, Vusi Mahlasela, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, Rachelle Ferrell as well as a number of other local and international performers.

The group will be performing with an eight-piece band to bring out the best in themselves.

The group's Coming Home album honours their roots while at the same time embracing a distinctive, futuristic sound that keeps pace with a dynamic musical world.

With Coming Home, TKZee continues to stand out and they are determined to do whatever is necessary to keep their music innovative and relevant.

The group is known for effortlessly displaying their versatility and as such not every track on Coming Home is upbeat and party-ready.

There are several songs on the album that reveal the maturity and depth of all three members of the group.
