THE return of Jacques Kallis and Mark Boucher from injury will add more zeal to the already powerful Warriors team that will play the Lions in the Standard Bank Pro20 final in Port Elizabeth on Friday night.

THE return of Jacques Kallis and Mark Boucher from injury will add more zeal to the already powerful Warriors team that will play the Lions in the Standard Bank Pro20 final in Port Elizabeth on Friday night.

Proteas wicketkeeper Boucher suffered a back spasm and was ruled out of the second Test against India last month. He was also not part of the one-day international series.

Kallis picked up a hamstring strain in the last match of the ODI series against India.

Both Kallis and Boucher were declared fit to play this week, just in time for the final. The duo have played nearly 600 ODIs between them and will be a significant boost to an already strong side.

Kallis put on a great performance and steered his side to the title in the MTN competition in January.

He is expected to help his new team add more silverware to the cabinet.

The Warriors reached the final of the Pro20 by beating the Cobras over two legs while the Lions beat the Titans, who were the defending champions.
