The trio were linked to the murder of an 84-year-old woman in Springs, and two housebreaking cases in Nigel and Dunnottar, Captain Johannes Ramphora said.
Police found stolen items in their possession, including a firearm that was reported stolen in Bedfordview.
"We have established that the three are ex-convicts and served time for robbery. Two of them are from Mozambique," he said. - Sapa
