Mbokazi murdered her husband Franz Richter, a well-known tourism mogul, in November 2007.
Judge Piet Meyer is expected to pass sentence next Monday after convicting Mbokazi and three others of murder.
Arguing in aggravation of sentence, prosecutor Mahlubi Ntlakaza said yesterday the murder was not committed on the spur of a moment.
He said it was carefully planned and executed.
"She was a beneficiary in the whole lifestyle of the deceased," Ntlakaza said.
However, presenting mitigating factors, Mbokazi's defence counsel, Dumisani Mkhwa-nazi, said his client had played a minimal role in the murder, was not a danger to society and should be saved from serving the prescribed sentence for murder.
Mkhwanazi also told the court that Richter had started a sexual relationship with Mbokazi in 1987 when she was 15 years old, while he was in his 50s.
He went on to say when Richter could not satisfy her sexually. Mbokazi met and fell in love with Mazwi Khumalo, who was earlier acquitted in the case.
Mbokazi has been convicted of offering Johnson Chirwa, Gilbert Mosadi and Dumisani Xulu R10000 to kill her husband and make it look like a robbery.
Richter was gunned down outside his ranch in Muldersdrift in Gauteng.
