JOMO Cosmos will bounce back to the Absa Premiership next season.
This assertion was made by club owner and coach Jomo Sono after his side was relegated to the National First Division on Saturday.
Players, some officials and supporters cried after the final whistle of their 1-0 loss to Moroka Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium that confirmed their relegation.
"These things happen in football," said Sono. "We gave it our best against Swallows but that was not our day. I have no doubt that the boys we have assembled will bring us back to the Premiership."
Sono attributed their relegation to their failure to score goals.
"We have a brilliant team of many experienced players. Some have featured for Bafana Bafana and other national teams. We play good soccer but the problem is that we could not score goals," he explained.
