AJAX Cape Town want to make it two in a row in the Telkom Knockout to prove that clinching the title last season was no fluke.

AJAX Cape Town want to make it two in a row in the Telkom Knockout to prove that clinching the title last season was no fluke.

So says Urban Warriors captain Brett Evans, whose side has been drawn against Moroka Swallows at Newlands Stadium on March 14 at 3pm.

"We are excited to face Swallows, who have been doing very well. It's going to be tough but our aim is to remain the last team standing, as was the case last year," Evans said.

This year's tournament kicks off on March 13 with a game between Lamontville Golden Arrows and Platinum Stars at Chatsworth Stadium at 3pm.

On the same day, Orlando Pirates welcome Bloemfontein Celtic to Orlando Stadium at 8.15pm. Bucs will be out to avenge last season's defeat by Celtic in the same tournament.
