THE Taste of Cape Town food festival will bring together the city's most acclaimed restaurants and carefully selected exhibitors to attract 20000 of Cape Town's most dedicated and sophisticated foodies.

The Cape's most extravagant food festival will again be held at Rhodes High School in Mowbray.

From March 24 to 28 (Wednesday to Sunday), 19 of the Cape's top restaurants and chefs will serve a stunning selection of sample-sized signature dishes to visitors.

Riding high from the hugely successful event last year, this food festival brings together the city's finest restaurants, award-winning wineries, premium drink brands, niche food exhibitors and fantastic entertainment.

Five of the restaurants taking part in this year's festival have been crowned in the prestigious Eat Out Awards list of Top Ten Restaurants in South Africa.

Celebrated chefs from Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek will be participating, promising an extraordinary gastronomic experience for everyone.

The Chef's Theatre, Wine Route and Beer Academy will add to a delicious day - or night - out, sampling exquisite food and drink.

The event offers stunning food preparation, sensational stimulation and an escape in the luxury surrounds of champagne and cocktail bars. - www.tasteofcapetown.com
