The latest project, launched last month, employed mostly the poor.
The project was the construction of the Setateng taxi rank outside Lephalale.
Construction work was started and completed last month.
Lephalale mayor and deputy provincial chairperson for the South African Local Government Association, Rosina Mokgotlane, said yesterday the rank comprised market stalls, toilets and shade for the rank, a palisade fence and a huge parking area.
Mokgotlane said the project created about 30 jobs for locals in the construction, welding and paving of the rank.
"We have also employed more than 200 young people in the sanitation and construction projects since September last year," she said.
