THE WBA Pan African super middleweight belt could change hands tomorrow night.

THE WBA Pan African super middleweight belt could change hands tomorrow night.

It is currently held by Thomas Oosthuizen. He is is a credible champion but the 11th-hour change of his opponent could see him kiss it goodbye. Oosthuizen will defend against Thomas Awinbono at Emperors Palace.

Zambian John Chibuta, who was initially Oosthuizen's foe, pulled out last week. The change of plans gave Oosthuizen only one week to adjust. He will have to remain vigilant throughout their 12 rounds, or he could get the shock of his life. This scenario will affect Awinbono too.

The Ghanaian has absolutely nothing to lose and a lot to gain. Meanwhile Jason Bedeman finds himself in a dicey situation prior to his challenge for the vacant WBA Pan African lightweight title against Bilal Muhammad.

Bedeman's trainer Manny Fernandez opted for the US, where his other charge Kaizer Mabuza will fight Kendall Holt for the IBF junior welterweight mandatory title eliminator on Sunday.

Bedeman will have to do whatever he thinks is necessary to upset the Ghanaian.

Meanwhile, the time has come for Stephen Castle and Flo Simba to mix it up. They had a lot to say prior to their four-rounder in the heavyweight division tomorrow.
