IN-FORM Platinum Stars midfIelder Joseph "Tight" Molangoane is in demand.

Sowetan can reveal that Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are chasing the highly talented Molangoane.

Molangoane joined Dinaledi at the beginning of this season on loan from Harold "Jazzy Queen" Legodi's African Sport Youth Development Academy (ASYDA).

The Kgohloane, Moletjie-born playermade an immediate impact in the Stars' first team where he has been a regular player.

"I have heard the rumours that certain teams were chasing me, but for now I'm focusing on helping my team finish the season in a respectable position," he said.

"Coach Steve Komphela and all the people here at Platinum Stars, including the fans, have been great to me and I appreciate their support."

Legodi said: "All that I can tell you is that three big clubs, two from Johannesburg and one from Pretoria, have made offers to us for Joseph.

"We are busy talking to all the stakeholders, hopefully an agreement will be reached sometime next week.

"Joseph has been getting rave reviews from top coaches in the Premiership, the boy has a bright future and will definitely be one of the Bafana Bafana stars for the 2014 World Cup."

Molangoane also tried his luck at Pirates as a development player but left after he was told he did not feature in their future plans. His next stop was Free State Stars where then head coach Themba Sithole was also unimpressed.

"The boy has a big heart and has been patient until Steve gave him the break at Platinum Stars," said Legodi, who has a handful of players from his academy at Premiership clubs.

Oupa Manyisa is with Pirates, Mpho Makola at FS Stars and Patrick Phungoayo plies his trade with Bidvest Wits.

l ASYDA has secured a massive sponsorship from Ericsson. The sponsorship will be launched in Woodmead, Johannesburg, on March 3.
