SHOPRITE Holdings, Africa's largest retailer, achieved a 5percent trading margin for the six months ending December, up from 4,8percent from the previous comparable period.

SHOPRITE Holdings, Africa's largest retailer, achieved a 5percent trading margin for the six months ending December, up from 4,8percent from the previous comparable period.

This was the highest margin yet achieved by the group and was attributed to effective cost control and growth in complementary services such as Computicket and the Liquor Shop. - Adele Shevel
