At the launch yesterday, eThekwini municipality mayor Obed Mlaba urged the public to protect and preserve the environment.
The programme includes forest restoration and carbon emission reductions projects.
"Let us protect our environment, our rivers and our animals that cannot protect themselves. It is us, human beings, who can save our environment and its inhabitants," said Mlaba. - Canaan Mdletshe
