In the past, an annual average of 500 young entrepreneurs had to wait for about two months before obtaining their company registration certificates, resulting in them losing potential business bids and opportunities.
Speaking in Midrand yesterday, where a memorandum of understanding between the youth agency and Cipro was signed, Daniel van Vuuren of NYDA said the partnership was designed in the "spirit of cooperative governance" to assist the youth to participate in the economy.
"In light of this partnership, the NYDA is offering Cipro an opportunity to access more young people with the goal of leveraging resources and to assist young entrepreneurs," he said. - Kea' Modimoeng
