With so many gospel albums on the market, one rarely finds something that speaks directly to the heart but Noah, whose real name is Tshepo Phaswana, will soothe any wounded soul.
His second offering, God is Great-Jikelele, is traditional gospel that packs a strong message.
Composed by the singer himself, he says the main message is that people should always have faith in God.
Unlike many gospel musicians who fill their albums with church hymns, Noah, who is from Allemansdrift in Mpumalanga, has put his creative skills to the test.
"When I am composing I look at life itself, which has bad and good things in it.
"I talk about how difficult it is for people to get jobs. It does not matter if you are educated or not, jobs are just not there."
Noah, whose first album in 2008 was titled Noah, says: "I know many gospel musicians fail to live by what they sing about but I want to be a role model in my community."
