A TOTAL of 13 people were injured in four separate motorbike accidents yesterday, paramedics said.

Two people on a bike were hit by a bakkie on the Boston Bulwer road in Pietermaritzburg, said Derrick Banks of ER24. The bakkie's five occupants were treated for minor injuries.

In Hekpoort, outside Hartbeespoortdam, a woman riding a bike collided with a pedestrian at 8am, said Netcare 911.

Meanwhile, four people were injured in Magaliesburg, Gauteng, when a man crashed his bike into a veld. Two joggers, who went to help him, were hit by a woman on a bike. - Sapa
