THE South African Reserve Bank has left interest rates as they are.

This follows signs that building activity may slowly be getting back into gear and sales of residential property are picking up and property prices are improving according to Absa Bank.

This all adds up to a much more positive scenario for the next Park Village Auctions property sale, said Park Village Auctions' Peter Havenga.

The properties in question are all to be found in a security complex, Heritage Heights, off Hendrik Potgieter Road, within the Pine Haven Country Estate, Homes Haven Extension 11, Krugersdorp.

The sale of the freehold units which, on average, are about 90 percent complete, commences at 11am on site at portion 28 of the complex, on Tuesday February 16, with each property being auctioned in sequence, inclusive of portions on various erfs. Viewing is on Sunday February 14 from 11am to 3pm.

The development has a contemporary architectural theme with each property offering individual floor plans. Portion 28 of erf 685 for example is a semi double storey residence with, entrance foyer, lounge cum dining room, kitchen scullery, guest cloak, three bedrooms, two bathrooms (mes), and swimming pool.

"These are highly attractive properties in a prime area of the West Rand and in view of their appeal both aesthetically and from an auction pricing point of view, we are enjoying strong interest, particularly in the light of the broad based improvement in the outlook for the property market" adds Havenga.
