THE DEPARTMENT of roads and transport in Limpopo has set aside more than R100 million to build two bridges and tar roads in Mankele village.

The construction of the two bridges will benefit residents of Mankele and Maredi villages who are cut off on rainy days because of the Lepelle River, which is normally full.

The two bridges will span the river and enable pupils and villagers to lead normal lives. The tar road will go over the bridges and link up with the main road. - Alex Matlala
