Murder accused to go free

THREE people arrested over the murder of deputy director of development in the KwaZulu-Natal education department, Ntombizonke Cele, in Westville might be freed, police said.

THREE people arrested over the murder of deputy director of development in the KwaZulu-Natal education department, Ntombizonke Cele, in Westville might be freed, police said.

"The three might be freed later today as it seems nothing substantial links them to the crime," Superintendent Vincent Mdunge said yesterday.

Mdunge said the nature of the crime was shocking and this was why they had asked for help from a forensic team of investigators from Pretoria. - Khulekani Mazibuko
