NEWS of President Jacob Zuma fathering his 20th known child received harsh reaction from his supporters on social networking site Facebook.

Zuma's supporters were reacting to the Sunday Times' story that he has a baby with Sonono Khoza, soccer boss Irvin Khoza's daughter.

Sonono, 39, gave birth to a baby girl, Thandekile Matina Zuma, in October.

One supporter said: "I love the ANC, and I like JZ very much. But I think he has to look in the mirror and change ... He is not a king but president."

Another said: "JZ is not only the president of our country, but a leader, and our youth look up to him. Our youth would think it's okay to have unprotected sex."

Said another supporter: "ANC should recall Zuma for ill-discipline just like Mbeki, he is not only an embarrassment and a health risk to his family and the nation - but a security risk to the country and the nation."

One supporter said the story was just a rumour. "I don't rely on rumours, so I'll make my comments after the news have been confirmed by him or his office ... don't you all think we should do that? I think we should not make noise for something we are not sure of."
